Novesta's production facilities date back to the 1930s, when famous shoemaker Jan Antonin Bata opened a factory in the small town of Partizánske in the middle of Slovakia.

Over time, Novesta has become one of the last purely East European produced brands. Novesta’s unique, timeless sneaker designs are recognizable around the world and the brand takes pride in its use of natural materials such as rubber, cotton and linen.
