Bonnetier

During the Age of Enlightenment, the work of the bonnetier was to make the socks and caps to sell to the market. This craft, resulting from the arrival of a new technique to weave the thread, was revolutionizing the ways of doing and making clothes.

This new technique made it possible to weave the yarn, giving it elasticity which led to the creation of new products such as the sock. So that's where the name of the company comes from, because it recalls the work of the craftsman and the pride of a job well done.

All Bonnetier products are entirely made in Quebec which reduces the ecological footprint of the products and encourages the local economy.
